Hi,
We have setup Rivermuse-4.2.0 and started using it. We have also been evaluating Rivermuse Pro. We want to support NTML or Kerberos authentication for Rivermuse Consoles so that I need not to insert user credentials whenever I login to Rivermuse consoles like Alert Console, User management, Alert Rulles etc. I am quite sure that we will need to modify the source code for this but it would be nice if Rivermuse is already supporting with tweaking the configurations. Could you please help me out to get rid of manual login? Any alternative approach would also be fine.
Does NTLM or Kerberos authentication supported with Rivermuse Pro?
Thanks,
Sunil.

Whilst there will definitely be support for authentication in the not too distant future, it may be that we can bring forward certain aspects in order to suit your current needs. H
Best regards,

Our basic need is to modify the Rivermuse authentication behavior. Currently, Rivermuse uses "users" table to authenticate user. We want our existing AD users to be authenticated using their username-password so this will bypass the existing Rivermuse authentication based on "users" table. Moreover, we just want to outsource user's authentication while the authorization for various roles still remains with rivermuse.
Could you tell me if this will be supported in next major release? If not then will it be possible to support by modifying the source code?
I and Paresh have been in contact via support@rivermuse.com email as well but putting response here for the usefulness to others.
Thanks,
Sunil.

Our next immediate goal is to integrate the AD authentication with Rivermuse. It would be really grateful if you can provide us the tentative time line for Rivermuse next major release so that we can plan our next action items accordingly.
Thanks,

My apologies for the delay and I'm afraid I will not be able to answer all your questions.
What I can tell you is that SSO is on our short term road map and is planned to be in the next dot release (after the upcoming launch of Rivermuse Pro). We don't have the release date yet, but I will post as soon as we have internally agreed on a date.
Regards,
Rouven
