We don't advocate the use of a particular IDE to edit and build the code - most of use here at Rivermuse work most efficiently from the command-line with vim.
However, as the build system is based on standard GNU tools, it is compatible with most standard IDE's and has been known to work with eclipse, Xcode (on OS X) Code::Blocks and Anjuta to name a few.
