How to use the RiverMuse demo site.

The RiverMuse demo site is based around a standard install of the latest stable RiverMuse Core, currently version 4.1.7. The underlying operating system is Centos 5.4. It can be accessed via demo.rivermuse.com or http://demo.rivermuse.org

The system has a username of system and a password of rivermuse.

What events does the system show.

The system displays the events from it's local syslog and web logs in the window, using the default syslog and web log agents. These are processed initially by the standard alert rules, but users are welcome to update these rules to enhance their understanding of the system.

Daily resets

The system is reset back to a clean install at the end of every day, but we retain the database for analysis. Abuse of the system will be dealt with appropriately.

The future
