Install, upgrade and removal of 3.4.4
Software upgrade
Currently you must manually upgrade each of the following RiverMuse .rpms individually:
- angara.rpm
- desktop.rpm
- processManager.rpm
- rsyslog-lite.rpm
RiverMuse recommends that you run yum clean all to remove any cached packages, and files that yum uses to determine the remote availability of packages, by typing:
For example, the following command should be typed for each .rpm:
Please be aware that when upgrading from 3.4.3. to 3.4.4, if you have changed the default database password, the upgrade process will remove that information from the configuration file. To reapply, go to /opt/rivermuse/etc/ and use the backup files created in the upgrade process to copy and paste the relevant information.
Software removal

- desktop.rpm
- processManager.rpm
- rsyslog-lite.rpm

For example, the following command should be typed for each .rpm:
