The RiverMuse API's enables you to customise a specific area of the RiverMuse software. RiverMuse provides four API's: C++, Java, Perl and PHP.

The API's consist of a set of tools and libraries to assist you in meeting your objects. Functionality common to all four API's is sending events directly to omosd. The C++ API, due to the nature of the language, is more formalised and advanced so can also retrieve configuration to instruct agents on polling.
